Consign With Us

ReSale Art sells original artwork by professional artists who live(d) and work(ed) in Oregon and Washington and who have had previous gallery representation or documented inclusion in significant gallery or museum exhibitions. We do not accept reproductions of original work such as Giclée prints, mass production commercial prints, or digital prints.

FAQs

Do you provide pick up services?
Yes, we can arrange for transportation services and work from an hourly rate. Please reach out to us to discuss details.

Help! I have a whole house full of art, do you work with estates?
Yes! We do work with estates—call us to talk through the details.

How long is artwork consigned?
Our contract runs for 6 months.

Do you discount artwork?
Yes, depending on interest, we may mark down artwork at two months and then again at four months.

My artwork is damaged, can I still consign it?
Generally we do not take damaged pieces. That said, we are often looking at older pieces, and some evidence of aging is acceptable for consignment.

Do you consign pieces that are unframed?
Yes, however unframed works on paper must be backed and sleeved to protect them. We provide backing and sleeving for $20 per piece.

What happens if my artwork doesn’t sell?
At the end of the contract period we will notify you that your work is ready to be picked up.

We operate on a consignment model under which consignors receive 55% of the final sale price of each artwork sold. If you are interested in consigning with us, please email us (info@resaleart.com) with information about your artwork, including photos, dimensions, and artist information. We will review the work and let you know if we are able to accept it for consignment.
